Rlaarlo AK-787 specifications and parts list

So depending on which version of the Rlaarlo AK-787 you purchase what comes in the box (and type of box) will vary. There are two RTR and two Roller versions of the car available, this breaks down into an aluminum chassis version or a carbon fiber chassis version. For the RTR it either comes in white and blue body or green and orange body, you can purchase your own clear PC body which maybe already pre-cut if the photos are to be believed.

So as you can see from the above pictures each car comes with a EVA carrying case which makes transport and storage a little easier when going from your home to the track. The transmitter isn't anything to write home about but it does control the rear wing with the turn of a knob. Also a few other things to note is the full functioning light buckets in the front and brake lights in the rear. The carbon fiber version does come with a fan mounted to the body as well to help with cooling one you move onto more power intensive applications.

Let's start talking about the Rlaarlo AK-787 specifications and break down the parts included with each model so you can get an idea of what to expect.

Outside of the chassis, servo and battery everything is different between the two platforms mechanically. Some very nice upgrades when you look at the difference between the carbon fiber and aluminum versions. A little more adjustability is found in the CF version with upgraded parts such as the center driveshaft with it's split design and steel construction or the CNC'd steel pinion and spur gear combination. Something else I really like from RLAARLO is the fact that they provide you with additional spur and pinion options to squeeze as much speed out of the platform out of the box. Incase you are wondering why I didn't post the specs of the roller versions of the two cars it's because they are the same as their RTR versions minus the electronics missing.

As we end this post keep in mind that this is just the RTR config and there are OEM hop ups available from RLAARLO to put the vehicle in a twin motor configuration as well. In future posts we will be talking about the steps everyone should take before the first run of the car, some small tweaks to suspension/toe/camber and more. Thanks for dropping by and we hope to see you again!
